I always felt Storm was one of the more overpowered X-Men. It's about time she goes solo.

10 issues.

10 issues before the announcement of its cancelling.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I don't even know how monthly comics are still financially plausible. I like Storm well enough, though. She was never a favorite of mine but she's always been a good character. Hope this series does well and is well received. Maybe I'll buy it on Comixology.

I'm excited about this one! I'm also excited that next year Rogue and Gambit are going to have their own comic series as well.
I'm kinda mad they seemingly already killed off Bloodstorm. Vampire Storm is so badass.

I think Bloodstorm did not die because I saw her still alive on a future issue

ALL HAIL THE QUEEN OF WAKANDA.

Very happy with Ta-Nehisi's run on Black Panther. I was extremely happy he reunited Black Panther and Storm.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Yeah...I cant see this succeeding past 10. A lot of those Marvel solo efforts get canned. Either the creative team is really weak, the sales aren't there, or both.

Best of luck to the creative team, though.

I understand your concern guys but I hope im not wrong with this. Coates is a very popular writer and Jen Bartel is a more popular artist than Victor Ibanez Jr.

Pak, the writer of the first Storm ongoing solo, may be popular but he doesnt have more than 50k followers on twitter. Coates has more than a million. Back then, when BP #1 was released, he only has less about 600k followers but the comic sold more than 250,000 copies. Though world of wakanda and black panther and the crew didnt sell well on tpits first issue til its last, those were partof BP mythos. So hopefully im not wrong with this that Storm's first issue is a clear 100k+ sales.

Shes not a Omega class mutant right? but a strong alpha, yeah shes one of the more powerfull ones (amoung alpha's).

1) control weather (control winds / fly (breathe at any speed/height in the atmosphere))
2) create lightning bolts,  see patterns in the electrical energy (she has more than just normal vision)
3) adapt to enviroments so her powers work on other planets

She is limited in her power though, usually by area, shes not able to control all weather across the intire world at once, but more in a localised part of it.
Also the larger the area, the quicker she drains her power, she can spend so much energy she ll stop being able to do her stuff.

Powerfull X-men:

I always liked Ice-man (he becomes Omega class).

1) Creates ice by absorbing and dispelling heat.
2) able to turn his entire body into organic ice, gain super strength and size by absorbing water molecules around him, heal in ice form, and kill or paralyse by freezing the water in a human body.
3) With the help of Emma Frost, he has developed further powers, including the ability to change his body to a gas form, to travel by merging himself with water molecules, to shape shift, and to survive as sentient water vapor (making him essentially invincible).
