I don't really see the lack of a dpad on the joycons as a problem at all. I can play by using them just fine.

Have you tried to play fighting games on handheld mode? A d-pad is so much better for fast paced 2d games in general. A 2d Mario Switch bundle, with d-pad joycons would sell like water in the desert. Do it Nintendo.

D pad, I am hold out hope that the Pro controller will go on sale during Black Friday but a Joy con with a decent D pad would help when play in handheld mode.

its also because of HNADHELD MODE. I really, REALLY need a dpad for handheld mode.

optional dpad+ analog trigger joycon set would be SWEET. thats all I ask, and at that point would basically make the pro controler kinda moot to me as I like the free hand mode a lot.
