Bought it 1 month ago (within return policy). It is now fall and the temperature is dropping. I was thinking maybe I could get one cheaper in the winter or better ones will be out next Summer. Thoughts?

You can legit buy your stuff from Home Depot and return it to Walmart. Walmart will give you instore credit for whatever the item is in their store (just don't tell them where you bought it).

You can take advantage of the policies, but I dislike it honestly. Most clothes store give full credit on clothes if you return it in 30-90 days. I know some people who buy clothes, wear it, and then clean it before it expires just to get their money back
