I am guessing we won't get numbers except XB1 and PS4 > 580k.

An interesting note which wasn't talked about much

“Sony’s PlayStation 4 led all hardware platforms in consumer spend during September 2017, while Nintendo Switch sold the most units amongst the current generation consoles,” said Piscatella. “SNES Classic was the overall top unit selling hardware platform in the period.”

That tells me that PS4 was extremely close again to the Switch since the ASP of the PS4 couldn't be much more then the Switch due to its leading SKU being less, only the PS Pro boosts it a little bit. And of course Destiny 2 being the biggest game of the year certainly helped HW sales.

Anyone got recent ASPs for these consoles?

?

The cheapest PS4 SKU in September was $299. The $249 Uncharted bundle had already been discontinued.

So #47 in amazon for September was a $299 bundle? If that is so then the PS4 is up yoy with the ASP going up as well, which is ridiculous. And we already have rumors of a $199 bundle for BF, so why skip a price point?

For reference:

Hardware Average Selling Price (ASP) in Sep. 2016 USA Retail according to NPD: PS4: $306.10, XBO: $299.57, Wii U: $298.59, PS3: $152.50

Edit: And it seems PS4 was within 10k of the Switch so I don't find the claim too ridiculous since Switch ASP should be solidly $299.

I remembered the Uncharted bundle being discontinued in the last week of August, but it was actually discontinued at the end of September.

Anyway, the PS4 Pro did not exist last September, so it's entirely possible that the average selling price went up this year.

Well, that is. I'll be very soon a part of those new threads.
Just waiting for my account.

...So, for the Month we can have an estimate of:

NSW - 315,000
PS4 - 305,000
XB1 - 175,000

donny2112 published the prediction rankings on ResetEra. And Welfare managed to narrow down the sales ranges for the PS4, XB1, and Switch:

PS4 = 300K - 310K
XB1 = 170K - 180K
Switch ≥ 308K

Close month.

Nice to see both PS4 & Switch over 300k, and Switch leading with like 2-10k sales.

Hopefully Brotous (sp? the op of thread) notices and updates the first post, with the numbers.

Well according to the blurb PS4 lead as far as value goes but switch lead in units.  PS4 and switch are the same price for the majority of units sold.  This month had the pro bundle pushing the average price slightly higher for PS4.  If switch had greatly outsold the PS4 it would of also lead in revenue.

Looks like you were right regarding PS4 and Switch being very close (link).

September:
PS4: 300K - 310K
XB1: 170K - 180K
Switch: ≥ 308K
