Wrong. Do some research. Wii U stagnated in, like, January or February aka 2-3 months after launch. Switch is doing better now than it was a few months ago, and it will only improve from here.

To be fair, the Wii U did pretty good at launch. If "pretty good" means being outsold by every other system except the Vita and the DS in it's first 2 months, that is.

Seriously, people don't understand how much of a gigantic failure the Wii U was.

It sold better than the Dreamcast.

So it had to have done well.

the wii u was also doing well before everything went south of the border, lets not forget. We will see how well switch does when the eventual dry spell in games begins (similar to its dead baby brother Wii U).

"Let's not forget"

Yeahhhhhhhhh..... no.Other have already given you millions reasons why it isnt the case you are saying.

Just quoted you to properly inform you that the Switch is killing it.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Nah, I was agreeing with you too

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Sorry, bro. Switch is here to stay. Especially now that Pokemon seems to be coming its way. You better be happy with having the best console multiplats for now since I take it you're going all in on the X1X train.

While we don't know if there's a cliff, hasn't it already passed the WiiU LTD sales?

That's not true for either system and the PS3 had a terrible launch.

Lets put it this way.

The Wii U launched in November 2012 and in January 2013 it was already seeing monthly sales as low as 55k according to this article.

http://nintendoeverything.com/january-2013-npd-wii-u-apparently-sells-only-55000-units/

It took the PS3 until January 2014 to sell less than that in a single month and till May 2014 for the Xbox 360, which launched in 2006 and 2005 respectively.

What the hell is a Wii U?

3DS NPD LTD was still under 1.7 million at the end of its first October (a comparable time frame to Switch at the end of September).
