Forums - Gaming Discussion - So I played both Forza 7 and GT Sport today....

What's the "narration" you reference?

Around the Network

I sure hope they never add night races to all tracks in Forza Motorsport since some of the tracks in the game don't have night races in real live. That you can have day and night races and all weather conditions including snow in all tracks in Project Cars 2 is rather silly. That being said once the complete edition comes out and goes on sale I will more then likely buy the game. It already has a impressive list of tracks and they will add over eight more via DLC. I never play racing games with advanced settings either those settings are mostly for people that use wheels instead of controllers. If you actually want to do some serious drifting in both the Motorspot and Horizon games you have to turn traction control off but turning them off doesn't make you automatically a great drifter you still need to have some major overall driving skills.

I actually liked the soundtrack better then the soundtrack in 5 and 6 it is similar to the music the used in the NASCAR expansion pack in 6 . That being said none of the Motorsports games have soundtracks that are nearly as good as any of the Horizon games even the licensed music tracks in Forza Motorsport 2 and 3 are nowhere near as good as the music in the Horizon games.

Ah, I see.  To each their own.  Seems like something I'd skip, personally, as I like creating my own narrative.  I have no interest in TV show personalities in my game, either.  That kind of thing would be more a negative for me unless it's totally optional.

Comparing a released game with a demo is the in thing now?

But the demo is pretty much the whole game that is why its 43GB it just doesn't let you access the whole game this isn't the case with the FM7 demo which is a seperate file and only lets you try three different races in three different cars which is less then 1% of the actual game.

- The game currently crashes when you use certain UI menus. The game crashed approximately 5 times today while I was trying to tune everything to my liking

You don't say... I think I couldn't access either of the menus found from the main menu without the game crashing, and I couldn't access Lobby either. I had no idea menus could be so unstable after an early development phase, and we're talking about a game that's supposed to be released in a week. Did they not test the game at all or what? It's not like it's hard to find a bug where a menu crashes the whole game as soon as you try to enter it...

You can skip them before they start.

Well Forza Motorsport 7 also launched with a bunch of problems and not all of them have been fixed yet despite already having had two updates but I used one of them to my favor since it resulted in a money glitch that one got patched with yesterdays update though.

Nah I disagree with FM7 having better car audio. GTS has better true to life audio IMO.

I played on 3 different tracks in Forza 7 and 3 different tracks in GT Sport. Don't really see the issue here. The GT Sport is really more of a trial than a demo, you have to download the full game in order to play it and progress carries over to the full version next week.

which is all pretty irelevant when your cons for GTSport are "online servers arent working" and "the game crashes" for a game that is not even officially released.

Let's be real here, that "it's not even released" excuse can't work here cause the game is a just a week away from release. The game is finished, it's just awaiting release.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
