Strange, coudl have swore I see topics all the time about how PS4 has its best year ever this year with games like Uncharted, Horizon, Persona, Neir, Nio, ect.

So please tell the Playstation fans about how 2017 has been a mediocre year.

The competition was STRONGEST this year, and Switch can succeed in it's *first* year!

I think PS4 still probably had a better year in fact, just because the 3rd party support was so strong.

Sony's first party was admirable too though. Horizon was great, Uncharted is beloved, and GT Sport looks to be amazing as well.

Competition wasn't small. It's just that most hardcore gamers only care about Horizon and third parties this year(at least from my observations) because Uncharted is getting older and GT Sport is a game some people ignore. 

Besides ... Fire Emblem Switch by itself beats God of War and Spiderman.

I don't see how it could... 2 games which we know still relatively little about will beat Nintendo who will clearly release zero games in the next 12 months....

Well... I´m impressed. EDGE tend to be harsh with Nintendo games.

Combine SSM talent and expierence with a strong vision and freedom from Sony and this game will easily have a 95 on meta.

I think that means absolutely nothing. It could go either way. There is no effective rule that creative freedom = high critical reception.

Edge gave every 3D Mario a 10 unless it's name is Super Mario Sunshine (Which is totally deserved!)

This isn't a total surprise but this game will probably easily reach Super Mario Galaxy terms of scores since Edge is like the harshest critic compared to most.

They didn't gave 3D World a 10 either
