Same, if it's a free (and slightly more cartoony) PubG but available on all formats then why not give it a go.

My only issue is I still don't get what Fortnite is as a game in general. Seemed to be a survival game but people were building things, then a horde game with Monsters/Zombies like Left 4 Dead. Now a PvP Battle Royale game?

Hmm, pie.

Yup. The fact that the game is getting this much attention by tacking on a BR mode just guaranteed that this will end up being the new multiplayer standard mode for games in the future.

Good for them. Actual competition is nice.

On another note, Rocket League is now over 2 years old and there wasn't a single attempt to replicate the formula. Turns out if you make a highly polished and unique game it's pretty hard to replicate.

Huh, that is actually interesting to think about.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

The Majora Mask developers  / Aonuma also thought their game would be copied a lot and were surprised when it didn't happen, its what makes the game still unique according to them.
