Pretty fun overall, better than the 2015 one I think.
The final ceremony was kind of lame though, on 2015, Miyamoto showed up and gave a signed 3DS to the winner if I remember correctly, this one was very lackluster.

Thomas G won. Great show but I missed more than half of it.

Maybe it was the new stages and boss for the final game (SMO) 

Mario Party was hilarious! 

Zelda shield surfing was a surprise but fun to watch 

DK got me at the edge of my seat lol. Kept screaming when they die. But oh man! That sudden death is heart breaking! 

Smash 8 Players + items was cool too. But it should have more of the Smash ball and more of those AOE items like slow motion. 

SMM stage was underwhelming.

Splatoon one was really good. Very close! Doing the rank modes are more fun to watch than turfwars. So I hope Nintendo continues doing this way.

MK8D was meh. Should have done battle mode! 

Metroid was really fun as well. Especially when they die just close to the hole.
