Agree with basically all you said... but if we are talking sim only them GT would have to sell less than 2M at current FM to be lower.

Some would argue that releasing several iterations per generation hurts the legs/potential of each one of them, and that install base does have an impact on sales, which is true to an extent. So I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

There was 3 GTs on PS3 and 3 FM on X360, 3 FM on X1... so althought there was a little bigger space between GT releases they weren't that much bigger than FM (even if you just count 2 GTs in PS3).

Also you can't decide it's a mistake on Turn 10 strategy to make a Forza every 2 years and them give that also as a benefit.

Remind that Fifa and other sports games are annual franchises and still sell plethora SW, CoD and some other shooters do the same, AC was doing it as well.

You are honestly expecting it to sell less than a Prologue did on PS3 or a spin off on the PSP?

GT6 which people even here didn't even know exists that launched as a PS3 exclusive against the PS4 massive launch and shift of interest focus has crossed 5M. GTS will sell well over 3M in Europe alone. Think, man!

I just prefer to low ball everything, saves being disappointed if I'm right :P

And hardly anyone would mock you for saying GTS will sell 3-5M if it ends up selling 10M... but if you say it will sell 15M and it sells 7M a lot of mocking could happen.
