Ok I just need to vent.

I just went to log into my Uplay account using Google Authenticator. The code generated failed to work several times and now my account is suspended. Ok, whatever. I'm sure they'll sort this out for me...

Call up Ubisoft support at 1530 Friday only to be told that their lines are only open until 1730 Monday to Friday. WTF? Ok, whatever. I'll just create a support ticket.

I can't log in to create a support ticket because my account is suspended! I have to wait an hour to log in now to create a support ticket. I'd try in an hour, but I get like 3 or 4 hours a week to game and this is one of them.

Fuck Ubisoft. Fuck them right in the ass. 

Anyway, I'm off to play some Metroid.

Well no game Ubisoft has ever made has ever been as good as Metroid, so it looks like they were actually doing you a favor...

I've stayed away from Uplay altogether.

When Steep was available for a free weekend on Xbox, it wouldn't let me play without making a Uplay account. So I just didn't play it. Don't regret my decision.

Assassin's Creed 2, Mario + Rabbids, and the Rayman games are pretty great! Ubisoft also needs to revive Prince Of Persia since Ass Creed is slowly starting to die. Other than a couple of other games.... everything else is shit.

It might have been a joke.... but it's also pretty accurate. 70% of Ubisoft's games are mundane, repetitive slogs to get through. I tried playing the Division, Watch Dogs 1+ 2, and Rainbow Six Seige and all of them ranged from mediocre to underwhelming. Don't even get me started on AC Unity. Worst 20 dollars I've ever spent in my life. Super Metroid beats all of them except AC2 and Rayman.

No, no: Samus Returns. It's pretty great so far.
