The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been out for about half a year now, and so I think it’s a good time to ask what yall think are the three best Zelda games you have played are.

I’ll list mine here, and plan to go into more detail as to why I chose them later.

In no particular order:

Majora’s Mask

Skyward Sword

Breath of the Wild

I've only played five and finished 2 (though I got very very close to finishing the other 3) but :

1. Majora's Mask
2. Wind Waker
3. BOTW

I’m happy to see Majora’s Mask is a popular choice. I still think it has the best and most complete atmosphere of any Zelda game.

I agree. I just wanted to see how Breath of the Wild fared in people’s minds compared to the past Zelda games. 

So far I’m a little surprised how many people will list it in their top 3. I did too, though, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised.

Nice to see you giving Skyward Sword some love. I still think it has the best gameplay of the series.

Eh, wouldn't quite say best gameplay because Breath of the Wild exists. Nothing really compares to the crazy gameplay of that one, the way everything interacts with everything, the way the game challenges you to be creative and use the environment for combat, etc.

But I do think Skyward Sword has the best story, soundtrack and dungeons of any Zelda yet.

100% agree. It's also the only game that made me care about Zelda as a character. It really doesn't deserve the hate it gets.
