Has a Souls game ever played well with KB+M? I dont know how to use a controller on PC and I dont want to buy one...

Lol, i remember i loved Dark Souls so much that I played it withoit any mods and KB+M when it came to PC back in '13. Still one of my highest played Steam games

Plug it into the USB port.... 360, X1 and PS4 controllers are always mapped same as console for button layout it really is just plug and play I regulary swap mine from X1 > PC and back.

Wait...

IT'S REALLY THAT SIMPLE?

I'm STUPID????

I never looked it up!

I'm a bit worried about the quality of the port since it's a KT game but let's see.

Yeah, seeing KT and both dev and publisher fills me with doubt that the port will be good.

There is always waiting and seeing what becomes of it, but it's KT and KT hasn't really got a clean record of excellent, shiny, fully functional ports.

I called this happening before the game even came out and people called me crazy, from now on i will just assume that any PS exclusive that doesnt have a contract or isnt owned by Sony (like Bloodborne for example) will just end up on PC.

Edit: also im gonna take this opportunity to call out in advance P5 extended edition ending up on Nintendo Switch sometime in the future, without a Vita successor i feel like this is almost guaranteed to happen.

Render at 8k and downsample to 4k then.

Surely it cannot be that hard of a game to run.

RECOMMENDED:

    • OS: Windows® 10 64bit, Windows® 8.1 64bit, Windows® 7 64bit
    • Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 4770K or over
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 VRAM 6GB or over AMD Radeon™ R9 380X VRAM 4GB or over
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection
    • Storage: 100 GB available space
    • Sound Card: 16 bit stereo, 48KHz WAVE file can be played
Is that a lot?

This means nothing, I never look at this stuff.
Honestly they are often to vague to mean anything.

I should be able to hit 4k60 no issue, and that is most of the time, good enough.

Thumper you can run at 8k on pretty much anything though.
I can hit 8k, 120 FPS with 8x MSAA onmy 1080Ti.
Numbers don't really mean much when in a vacuum.

Ah, 1080 Ti, so I see that you are really into PC gaming.

Not bad. Gonna have that on my wish list.

I do enjoy my computers.

But there is more to GPU power than just games.

"the all-new ‘Action Mode’ which will feature stable 60fps, or ‘Movie Mode’ which expands the resolution to 4K!"

Wait a minute... If you play at 4k they're locking it at 30fps?

It sounds like to me graphics options are gonna be almost completely absent. Why would there be "Action/Movie Modes" on a PC release, This isn't a PS4 Pro. I smell a bad port...

The two issues I've noticed at the 60fps focus, for all we know it could be an fps lock, which means getting less out of it if you have a 144hz monitor (like myself), if the port is bad, then that means less than 60fps with that lock making it just run terribad like Nier is like.

Also two settings?, that doesn't sound right at all. I'm hoping for a fleshed out options menu with rebindable keys as well.
