So I died, died, and died some more. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to complete the first world. That being said I love the game so far.

The art style is amazing the, the platforming is great, the sound track is true to the era. The combat isn't deep, but there is so much going I think it suits the  pace of the game.

Lots of previews/reviews say it's difficult, but I personally wouldn't say it is. It's more to do with getting your timing right on the platforming elements. Once I got a rythym down I was getting through the levels at much faster rate.

I just hope it's not to long until they add online co-op because I could see that making the game even that much more enjoyable.

I'm not disappointed in the slightest of my purchase so far.

I'm gonna buy it now. Wasn't in a rush since I have too many games already but you only live once.

How much actual platforming is there? I'm curious

Probably about 75% of the game so far.

Wow, that's actually good to hear! It's weird because it kept getting called a platformer but all the gameplay made it look like it was only a side scrolling shoot em up

The shoot 'em up element carries itself through out the entire game, but as far side scrolling they're was only one level in first world. Every other level is either a boss fight or a platforming focused.

Also are you playing on Xbox or PC? Kind of curious as to how good the Windows store port is

Steam. Didn't have any technical issues at all.

Interesting. I like how in co-op if someone dies you "jump" to save their spirit.

I am curious how co-op is implemented. Do you double the health of the bosses? Or do the bosses have THAT much health even in single player?

Yeah I'm not sure. Like I said I hope they don't take to long to add online co-op. I'm really insterested in trying it out.
