I hope you enjoy it! .

I've played for two hours and yes, I'm pretty satisfied and feel that this is a great sequel. Loving it so far. I really love the introduction of mods to upgrade the gear, and artifacts; so the exploration is now more encouraged. Also, you can tell it's hand-designed this time. There's a nice sense of progresion too.

Played the first one on 3DS and enjoyed it very much. Downloaded this one onto my Switch this morning. Looking forward to playing it on lunch break at work today.

I do think it's weird though ... is the resolution off for anyone else in docked mode? The items have a cut off on the TV but in handheld it's fine

You might need to go into your Switch menu and make sure your screen is set up properly.

Ah ok. It hasn't been an issue for any other game but i'll go check just in case :)

I hadn't noticed it either.  Everytime someone would come online, though, the number representing the number of people online would be cut off on the screen.  I thought it was an error in the system but it turns out I had it set up incorrectly.  Just like you I hadn't noticed it in Zelda or MK8.  I'm not saying that's what it is since I haven't played Steamworld Dig 2 yet (but I can't wait!) but this was something that helped me.

Was always tempted to get the first. It was on sale several times but I didn't know what it was. I'll get that one and work my way up to this.
