Forums - Politics Discussion - Russia is waging war on the U.S. — Morgan Freeman

The United States and Russia are both authoritarian, war mongering, election interfering regimes who are vying for more global influence. It seems to strange seeing Morgan Freeman make a video like this."For 241 years" LMAO, racism, sexism, overthrowing governments and installing brutal dictatorships, yeah, such a shining example.

Oh VGP. Those are some gross exagerrations.

Yeah, strange. Because being a celebrity prevents you from being genuinely concerned for the wellbeing of your country.

No, it's just questionable if one uses that status for populistic measures.

It's literally impossible for him not to.

Thats like asking a rabbit to short hop.

The idea that he shouldn't say anything because he'll always have a megaphone is ridiculus.

Wl that's what being famous does for you. Besides do you actually agree with him. I think that every self respecting actor should not want to perform in this piece of US propaganda against Russia. Especially since the US acts way more often like the world police and interferes with other countries than Russia.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

I dont care what he says. It's the "shut up, you're famous" mindset im against.

It isn't more probable that the party in power also used its power (not always inside the law) to influence the election as well? So it's not only like the hypocrisies of complain of Russia interfering when USA also still interfere in other countries election, but it also try to be blind that USA rich and powerful also done it in house for both sides.

I wonder if Morgan actually believes this spiel or if he just took the gig because it paid well, lol.

The US intelligence services believe so too btw.

They think the russians did manage to meddle in the election.

The "at war" part is insane though, apart from that,

yeah the russians via manipulation managed to help get their guy elected president of the US.

I share a name with this guy :(

Leftists are out of their minds... Every new day some crazy shit like this hapenns.

Needless to say I lost all respect I had for Morgan Freeman, for agreeing to spread this propaganda for money.

Such a great actor and I love his voice... Wow he's 80 years old now.

Oh and this another gem, from few days ago.

^ Using kids to spread propaganda, typical liberal tactic, also the video is full of lies and missinformation, and now they also disabled likes and dislikes...

Not sure liberal means what you think it does. That said your country of origin atm has a very right winged nationalist government, am I right?!

I'm no type stating he shouldn't say anything. I'm just stating he shouldn't use it for warmongering sensational BS like this video.

Meh, nobody on the left is as batshit insane as Alex Jones.  Plus nobody on the left tells you a bunch of bs while also trying to sell you a bunch of snake oil like Alex Jones does.
