I've been saying this since Adventure 2. Those two games are the highest rated 3D Sonics ever and the only 3D sonics that were (at the time) universally praised.

Go back and look at the the reviews. Sonic Adventure 2 got a 9.4 from IGN for crying out loud. People who criticize those games do so in retrospect.
Ok well, push the series forward by not rehashing Sonic Generations with character customization. Come on. Try a 3D Classic Sonic only game. Like I dunno, Sonic Utopia.

Seems you are in luck: The first mission of the 3 is a Team Dark mission it seems. |
Yes! Thanks for the info!

It's definitely similar in that the level design is more open than the later Sonic games, but it's lacking several key features of Adventure such as playable Tails/Knuckles and Chao Garden. |
Tails and Knuckles were playable in 06 for key points in the story. Didn't have their own story but you could control them for a limited time. It was missing the Chao Garden though. It's quite a shame it was. Might have made that shit game somewhat redeemable.
Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 are two of the worst Sonic games out there, I'm glad they're trying to distance themselves from that mess. What they need is to improve the Sonic Colors formula, forget Green Hill Zone and keep with the Sonic Mania style to fill the gap between big releases.
The only reason a game is made is to satisfy potential customers, so that they'll pay for it. This dude sounds like a real dumbass. Hopefully its just a translation thing, and he's not really that much of a clown.
