In case it wasn't apparent before you clicked on this thread: Shadow the Hedgehog is a playable character in Sonic Forces. In addition to being playable in 10 Modern Sonic stages, he will have his own episode of stages. However, there will only be three levels total in the episode. At least its free DLC. I imagine its going to be a hard mode version of Modern Sonic's levels.

 I also hope that they may deliver more content like this for the game depending on how it sells/how many people are playing. It would be cool to play as Tails & Knuckles as well

Shadow will be playable in 10 Modern Sonic stages, but he will have 3 stages exclusive to him focusing on ties to baddy. I bet it wont be Interestiung.

TBH.... this looks incredibly subpar. The level design looks like it has a higher focus on racking up homing attack chains than actually having a sense of speed. I guess it's acceptable since it's Shadow... but the level design still looks boring regardless. I still might pick up the game since it's only 40 dollars.

I guess this is cool. But, really, I hope somebody is working on Sonic Mania 2, or maybe a level pack DLC kind of thing. That's the best Sonic has been in 25 years.

Not only am I looking forward to this game, but it's going to be a lot of fun to watch what speed runners can do with it.

With its low initial price plus free add-ons I'm more than happy to support it. Between this and Sonic Mania you're spending about what, $80 (CAD) on two Sonic games in one year? That's plenty of content.
