Picture does get murky (haven't tried it in a month or two) but I always used wifi connection but that doesn't matter because my other streaming devices such as Roku and Wii U don't have this problem.  I believe it is more due to limited processing power of the Wii.  If he was a good son he would pick up one of the higher end Roku players for like 60-80 bucks and expose his dad to a true streaming device.

Yes, I am.  Force Awakens was good, but it was too much of a paint by numbers re-iteration of A New Hope for my tastes.  I'm hoping for The Last Jedi to break out from that.

Yea Wii U is a lot better at streaming than the Wii.  I liked the Wii a lot back in day and just assumed the murky/blocky video that sometimes occurs was due to fault of my connection speed (but I believe it was actually the Wii's fault).  I'm most impressed with my Roku that I believe is the second highest end model which I got for about 70 I believe.  The overall loading of programs UI and consistency of the stream is pretty damn good.

I think you're underestimating just how much the fanbase of Metroid sexualizes samus. Seriously,  LOZ is much more popular and no one gives a shit about Zelda in comparison to Samus.
