Hello everyone! I’ve taken a step away from this website recently (too toxic and too often I got caught up in stupid and foolish arguments). This is my first post in a while and I think I will just continue posting my game reviews and occasionally things on games, but I’m done talking (at least as far as I can see) about real world things on this website as people tend to want to dissect and insult you on everything here.

On a bright note, I’ve decided to reformat my reviews going forward. I haven’t had a game with a bad interface in a while and, when it really boils down to it, there is something that has replaced it in terms of importance to me (music). Also, I will now just have a simple description about the game, following by the points in each category, instead of them being separated. Anyway… hope you enjoy!

Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle Review

The year’s most absurd and random game is also the most enjoyable gaming experience I’ve had in years. What a fresh, wonderful spin on two series (one slightly old, and the other as old as video gaming itself). It’s like someone thought, “hey, let’s combine the Mario universe with the insane ‘minion-like’ humor of rabbids, with the gameplay of xcom, with the music of Banjo Kazooi, and make an absolutely beautiful engine, art style, and CGI cut scenes along with it.”

This combination sounds like something a 37 year old high school dropout part time coder would try to make, but nope, it was a full-fledged AAA game experience. Not one second of this game was boring. Not one death did I have (there were many) did I ever proclaim to be done with this game. Not since Arkham City came out have I felt this compelled to go back and get all the bonus stuff. What a treasure; an absolute delight in so many ways. The story was funny, had entertaining twists, and had probably the coolest form of a certain bad guy (cough*) I’ve ever seen. The game was incredibly easy to control. I hope this game sells like bonkers, because I seriously would flip out if Ubisoft announced a sequel. Easily, hands down, without a doubt the current game of 2017 to me right now. Bravo, I say, bravo!!!

Glad to see you again.

This is your favorite game youve reviewed????

Absolutely agree on it being the GOTY so far this year. I haven't had something that was this much pure fun in years.

The game is one of my GOTY candidates this year for sure. Hell, I still have to beat those devilish Ultimate Challenges, but I already did all the game has to offer and I feel sad about it after 40 hours (yeah, I've died a lot, I admit it XD). Can't wait what they have in store for the season pass.

I like it. Finally Batman isn't #1 anymore.

It took a LOOOONG time for that to happen. And it's going to be incredibly difficult to beat this. The highest score my review systems allow for is 115, and that may honestly never happen.

Pretty much every reviewed game you see up there is on this forum somewhere under the headline "review by the walrus." If you want to know how those games reviewed, you can go find those, but yes so far, out of the many dozens of games I've reviewed, it is the best.

Honestly, it is just beautiful. The music instanly made me think to the good ol' days of playing Banjo on the 64. Man I wish games had more musical scores like this game...

Glad your back and your review format is much more reader friendly.

Yea, and it makes it so what I type flows better. I like to get creative with things but sometimes those comments didn't fit under specific categories, but now it all works.

I have done like zero of the bonus stuff, and I'm actually pretty pumped to go do it now :)

Will the season pass have content expansions? Like new story mode? Or just bonus levels with no plot?
