I definitely don't think that footage from Nintendo Direct is best for comparison, and it's obvious that still same Nintendo Direct footage.

yeap, some journalists tested the game in a event made by bethesda (something like this).

It makes sense, that's the way you get the best performance out of the console.

Thats not completely true, the switch has a buttload of more RAM to use, does count for something.

But it does look like "best case scenario" screenshotting

To be fair. iD Tech 6 scales stupidly well... And has a ton of movement to downscale to lower end devices due to the fact it targets 60fps on other platforms even with mediocre hardware. (Xbox One.)

That is where the Switch has some shortcomings against last gen hardware both in cpu and raw GPU performance.

To be fair... The games generally speak for themselves that... Even in portable mode it is punching above the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Agreed. It isn't the best footage to form a comparison... But that is all we have at this stage. :P

It does use dynamic resolution to get there though, falling to "1472x828 or lower" on Xbone according to DF, and the framerate can drop into the 40s.

Will be very interesting to see what resolution the Switch version runs at.
