BraLoD said: Yeah, no. I agree it'll be a good year, Zelda, Xeno and Mario with good games, the Switch exclusives are few but good this year. But PS4 already had so, so much good games the Switch didn't. Resident Evil 7, Tales of Berseria, Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier Automata, Persona 5, Crash N' Sane Trilogy, Undertale, Knack 2 (it looks good to me, didn't care for the first at all). Plus some more stuff I may not remember, or care, as Destiny and CoD for example, that people are happy with. PS4 line up this year is by far my favorite pick. And that last line... man, you are really into Nintendo, huh? |
But does PS4 have Doom releasing in 2017? Yeah, didn't think so.
And can you play World of Goo on the go? Checkmate.
Might want to wait until those games are actually released before making judgements like that. Nintendo's first party is certainly excellent in 2017, but not to any notable degree greater than Sony's for example. In my opinion it's going to fairly even between the two as far as quality games are concerned.
I would say Nintendo has a much better win this year. Whereas Playstation continued their winning ways and delivered game after great game week after week, I think this year itself will more be remembered by Nintendo's phenomenal comeback and delivering 2 goty candidates. Just my two cents.
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Eh how many games Sony released until now with metascore that are above 90? Dont forget that Mario Odyssey is almost certain 90+ game also.
As a game developer? Definitely, Nintendo has made a lot more great games than anyone else this year.
As a console maker? I think Nintendo and Sony are very close.
What an hyperbolic statement to make when knowing PS4 will possibly outsell Switch+3DS. And to claim Nintendo is winning because they are for once getting the Multiplats plus regular 1st parties?
Let's wait for 2018 or even 2019 for Nintendo to at least put enough stock to have a possibility of Switch outselling PS4. But 2017 won't be the year for this.

Oh geez. No.

When you say Nintendos is not noticably better than Sonys ... are you talkimg exclusives or first party?
