Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Article: Nintendo Has Won 2017

Nintendo Direct was by far their most successful and intricate to date. They showed off 12 (!!!) games for their Nintendo 3DS system and 23 games for the Nintendo Switch, and that doesn’t even account for updates to games like ARMS and Splatoon.

Here’s a rundown of the 3DS games Nintendo showcased:

  • Pokémon Ultra Sun & Pokémon Ultra Moon
  • Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions
  • Kirby: Battle Royale
  • Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters and Oni Evolution
  • Layton’s Mystery Journey
  • Minecraft for Nintendo 3DS
  • Mario Party: The Top 100
  • Metroid: Samus Returns
  • ATLUS RPGs Journey to the West
  • Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
  • Fire Emblem Warriors for Nintendo 3DS

Fire Emblem Warriors for Nintendo 3DS
* New 3DS, New 3DS XL, New 2DS XL only

Also, I would kill for custom Switch controllers and official PC support.

That red Switch Pro Controller looks out of this world.

Like half of those games on the list for switch are coming/already on Ps4.

You forgot to mention gran turismo sport, dead rising 4, marvel vs capcom infinite, dynasty warriors versus, road rage, AC origins, Need For Speed Payback, The Sims 4, And Okami.

You have to remember that some big guns like god of war or the last of us hasn't released yet.

in what switch has won? Sales?

Zelda Breath of the Wild + Super Mario Odyssey both in 2017! Yes, I would have to agree with you.

I guess that's some really low expectations if aside from the 1st party Nintendo releases, having the handicapped version of some multiplat games (like fifa and NBA 2k) as well as ports of years old games (skyrim, doom, rocket league, etc) this makes them "win" 2017 lol

And you're asking what does Sony have to show... in 2017? for real? :D

But hey, everyone has the right to their opinion

First party line up? Yes
But Sony also has a good library of games this year. So I guess gamers win in 2017?

Think for yourself, question authority
