Texture quality took a pretty big hit. but it still looks good.

So that's how Doom would look if it was released 7 years earlier. Nintendo cashing in on nostalgia as usual.

Doubt it ... 

It took all of the CPU power on consoles to hit 60FPS ... (single threaded performance on Jaguar is a good 50% faster than cortex A57 and consoles have 2x more cores too)

I don't think so. From the clip, it looked more like 30 fps than 60 fps. Still cool to see Doom coming to the Switch, though. Same with Wolfenstein 2 (was not expecting that at all).
