Sony’s adaptation of Robotech found its director in Andy Muschietti back in July, and now Jason Fuchs is on board to write the screenplay for the feature based on the popular ’80s anime TV series.

Jason Fuchs is best known for writing Wonder Woman, Ice Age: Continental Drift, and La La Land.

Hopefully, it turns into a good film adaptation that's faithful to the source material without any pc being injected into it.

Huh, that's neat. I didn't realize that this was still happening.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Guy has a good record, but it's also Sony Pictures... which does not have as good a reputation as its gaming division

Ya never know these days. Perhaps the main character will identify as a cat. I just want a decent film adaptation for once with no real world politics in it.

WW was hardly an award winning screenplay. Robotic might be too complicated for him. Especially that he's the writer of Pan and Ice Age 4.

He didn't write La La Land, and he co-wrote the story for Wonder Woman, not the screenplay.

There's nothing here to get excited about, unfortunately. Sony Pictures has a dreadful track record and Mr. Fuchs has an anemic resume.

I have just heard about this 'remake' and i already know none of what you hoped will be true .

We're talking about Sony pictures here. The studio who thought it was a good idea to basically call GB fans virgin neckbeards.
