And its... AWESOME. If you own Fortnite, check it out. I can certainly see why PUBG is so popular after playing this mode all day in Fortnite. Lock if old.

All it takes is one game to do better than all others at a single game mode, to then get everyone else trying to cash in on the game mode that everyone else seemingly ignored for years .

Dunno about that - a lot of games have a free-for-all mode.

 

Edit: I guess it's a twist of free-for-all - no respawn. So what do ther other players do when they die? Move on to another match?

Yeah, I'm not surprised to see it happen, what surprises me is that this feature wasn't already more common in the first place.

I'm talking of how the BR mode works. We already have a different mode that all other MP games use, Free for all is one of those different modes.

This is nothing like Free For All. And yeah, when you die you just bounce out and requeue. Or you can spectate.

Still looking for that first winner winner llama dinner :( Top 5 is still my best finish. Ran across my first cheaters today, grouped up.

Cross play was open to XB and PS players for a short duration for Fortnite?

XB locks down PUBG for a period of time > Fortnite creates similar game mode > PS4 and XB1 players get a taste of Fortnite cross play > Cross play halted > PS decides if its worth allowing it to tempt players and keep them off PUBG on XB1.

That's what it looks like to me anyway. Either that or a threat to PUBG. Join us or this means war. I don't completely buy this "it was an accident" PR.
