2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'

Why are we counting games with a meta score under 90? When comparing great years we're really only comparing great games and 80-89 is pretty mediocre and not relevant. The best way to compare years is as follows:

 

Add up the metacritic score of every game that scored over 90 in a given year. Compare the totals and you'll have the best year in gaming.

If you include The Last Guardian (release December 2016) then I think we have at least the best Action/Adventure year. What about Rime, anyone?

The best RPG year of all time MUST be 1995 (Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Final Fantasy VI, Dragon Quest VI, Terranigma, Seiken Densetsu 3, Tales of Phantasia...).

For arguements sake, lets take whatever game you consider your greatest game of all time and lets say it came out in 2017. That was the ONLY game that came out in 2017. Lets say that 2018 brought 3 good games - Nioh, Horizon and dark souls. Which year will you look back on more fondly?

That is like super flawed......because what if those 2x96 games don't interest me? Then those 20x85s have more chances and are all games that are very good even if they are not my personal tastes. So those 20 will stick with me most.....even if I don't like all 20 I have a higher chance of liking even just 5 that is still better than 2 at 96.....Heck Legend of Dragoon is one of my all time favorite games and it was in the 70s.

Like you can't be serious thinking llike that....it is a very broken way to look at things to be honest with you.
