Not really, they are a tiny studio that releases a game once or twice a generation.

Also, I think people are giving Retro Studios a little too much weight. People say it's because they developed Metroid Prime, but that dev team doesn't actually exist anymore - they had all left the studio about a decade ago. Even much of the original DKC Returns team is no longer there.

Retro Studios 2017 is an almost totally different studio with totally different people than Retro Studios from 2002 to 2008.

I think that your point about Retro being mostly different is entirely fair. It has been many years since Prime, so I doubt that the majority of those individuals would still be at the same company, yeah =p

Fantastic. I'm already setting up an altar to pray for a Xenoblade 2 release this year! Maybe for a Pikmin 4 announcement too, while we're at it. 



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
