Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rumored Sept 13th Direct

They've had an ND in September at some point each year for a while now if that continues it wouldn't be much of a surprise, I can see the following being possible:

- Mario Odyssey Update, as the game is out next month.
- Xenoblade 2 trailer with release date
- BOTW DLC2 trailer and info
- Fire Emblem Warriors Update
- Skyrim Update
- Ultra Sun/Moon Update

September NDs have also been the NDs that have yielded the most surprise announcements as well with Pokemon X/Y, Bayonetta 2, Monster Hunter 4 and such being announced during them so a surprise announcement is not far fetched either.

While there was a Direct for XY in September of 2013, XY was first announced during a direct on January 8, 2013...

Aside from that, I would say your post is pretty spot on...

In terms of possible surprises, I'll go with either another Wii U port (this might be a good opportunity to bring Wonderful 101 to a bigger, more interested audience), a third party port like Fallout 4, or maybe Pikmin 4...

Have a nice day...

Retro Studios please!!!!!!!!!!!

Think that's nintendos big E3 announcement.

However, it's been so long since we last heard of them... Do they even still exist?

On the other hand wasn't the composer for deus ex working with them on "an exciting project"?

So there's that at least.

Think for yourself, question authority

Eith the recent rumor of Bayo and Vanquish pack, it would be nice if that came too to Switch, adding to it Bayo 2, with a 10 or 20 dollars increase to justify it.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

More Xenoblade Chronicles 2 please!
and BoTW DLC

With LA Noire being ported, I wouldn't be surprised to see GTA5 follow suit.

Man, don't get my hopes up! The only reason I didn't double dip and purchase the PS4 version of GTA V is because it's not portable.

It's really about time we get some information on the Virtual Console. Will we have to purchase games we already own again? Are we getting GC games? Will Nintendo be twats and start from scratch instead of building upon the already existing library like they did with the Wii U?

I demand answers.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Some good talent left Retro a while back.. but they were hiring not too long ago. The team has actually grown considerably.

Maybe they were working on something commercially questionable and it got cancelled because... Nintendo.

Hopefully everything is ok now.
