You absolutely can.

Thx for that! I havnt bought one yet but i definitely will do when my bos4 becomes full, it will save the hassle of installing a new internal one.

Originally I did not see point with usb2, but usb3 made it really feasible. I have 4GB, and it is a nice storage to keep games that I have finished already. I normally keep it off, and start it only if I wanna play a game which is installed on it.

I'm using a 5TB external HDD, i love it, i'm finally able to get more giant complete edition PS4 games without annoying re-download or reinstall over again.

Digitally on an external HDD, yes, you can. But remember maximum capacity is 8TB if I mistaken.

Yep. Have a Pro, which has a 1TB HDD, with a 4TB HDD attached to it. I like that Sony made it where it only stores games, though, while the rest stays on your PS4. Allows for more space for games.

Absolutely. The extra 2gb of space actually allows me to install a decent number of games on my system at any one time, and I don't have to play a game of pick and choose everytime I buy a new one.

Digital is a big no-no and I play very few games at a time, so I simply don't need it. (PS4 Pro 1TB).

They added it like a month after I got an 1tb SSHD... which isn't yet full, so no. Then I'm more likely to just uninstall an old game or a disc one honestly.

Hmm, pie.

Nah, external storage was always one of those features that didn't mean much, but always became a major feature when one console didn't have it and one did.

At least that's how I saw it, I'm not even at half.
