Forums - Sony Discussion - The Witcher 3 4K PS4 Pro support coming soon

I hope they add some cool visual upgrades for 1080p aside from supersampling.

This is great. But, how many people are going to play TW3 at this point? I finished it a long, long time ago. It is very replayable. But, there's so much stuff coming out all the time nowadays that I rarely replay games. Who has the time for that?

Not invalid, but the gen isn't over and people are still buying these consoles.

Hence, Witcher 3 is in a backlog of titles people will play in the future and its evidently pretty easy to patch games.

Much of these enhancments are basically brute force, not great optimization.

When I went from the Ps4 version to the PC version the difference was night- and day so I hope they add some of the visual enhancements for sure, great game. Great reason for people to replay it, wonder what the differences between the pro and one x wille be like with the extra memory, cuz this game eats memory and gpu horsepower!

I am slowly, painfully playing through this game at the moment. Not sure what the hype is about. It's amazing to look at though. Maybe this type of game just isn't for me.

Hopefully they throw in some final bug fixes in this patch (specifically the sound bug during the possessed tree sequence).
