Come on GTAV on Switch, let's do it Rockstar!

NOW THIS would easily get my money! Even if it we're just the story content, I'd jump for joy.

Give me San Andreas or Vice City, R*, and then we'll talk. Chinatown Wars 2 would be swell too.

Global Total as of 15th Jul 2017 (units): 1.32m

Yeah... Wouldn't bet on a Chinatown Wars 2 any time soon.

Already own it on 360. Been waiting for this game to be BC.

I may get it again as I never played the DLC stuff.

San Andreas Stories on Switch would be a big system seller, especially because the Fifa/CoD/GTA crowd isn't the NIntendo demographic. If they can get LA Noire running they might get PS3 era GTA running.

Based on what? Are you forgettiing the sales of Grand Theft Auto Games on Nintendo Systems?

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (DS): 1.32 M
Grand Theft Auto (GBA): 0.24M

That doesn't exactly bode well for Nintendo systems getting Grand Theft Auto games.

Played it once on ps3. Bought the dlc and never played it. Sold my copy. Definitely won't buy this at launch but maybe next summer on sale if I clear my backlog. Doubt I will though.

Its nice to see 1st Rockstar game for Switch.

1.32 mil for a spin off on a handheld poorly suited to the game they wanted to make (no analogue stick, very weak graphically) is not bad at all.  And the GBA game was a dumpster fire with a metacritic 25 points bellow the series average on system that had no business attempting to have such a game.  Its sales are irrelevant and the fact you brought them up is silly.

Now I don't know about San Andreas or any of these other old ones, but GTAV on Switch would be easy money.  That game still sells well and a portable version that isn't badly gimped would be very exciting for a lot of people.  The reality is GTAV sells on whatever system it goes to and sells well.

It sounds interesting, but I don't know if i'll be getting it. I want to because I never got to play the game, but I've heard fairly mixed things. The cycle of whether big M rated games should come to Switch or not is vicious. As long as third parties don't bring those titles to Switch the console will have a somewhat limited market, and as long as Nintendo doesn't advertise maturity third parties will have a hard time bringing over big M rated games.

GTA V could be absolutely huge for Switch. Make it happen!

Nintendo hasn't exactly gotten a 3D GTA game ever, so we don't know how it would do. Not many people care to play the old 2D style of GTA.
