Why would you need to request to ban yourself? You can use apps that block access to any website of your choosing for 'X' amount of days if necessary.

Thanks for the response. I just find the answer baffling. I suppose I never saw the appeal to temporarily deactivating your account on Facebook or other websites either.

You can force yourself to bypass the app or the extension because of a strong attachment to habit, but having yourself banned for a signifcant period of time is more of a solid solution - or, well, it was more of a solid solution.

That's fair enough, I guess.

I suppose if they want time off, they will just have to break the rules to get a ban now, hey? Not that I would encourage such behaviour.

Yay, new rules!...

I didn't read the last ones, and I won't read this ones either. If common sense is not enough to keep me safe from bans, then there's something wrong with either me or the rules.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

So, are the requested bans retroactive? Like, are the people that requested a permaban going to be unbanned now?

Wouldn't that take far too much time to go through and unban them all? Not as if they'd actually use their accounts again either

Yeah, that is true. I was just wondering.

It's cool. A simple summarization is that all PC conversation is banned immediately. :P

Well, there aren't many, so it wouldn't make a difference

Nah. They are grandfathered in (unless they ask to be unbanned I guess...) but we aren't going around and seeking them.

BOOOOOO, bring them back damn it -_-

Seriously doubt this will work.

It has been working and it will continue to work.

For the record, I'm not against people getting away with the size limitations at all, but aren't there a few members who currently get a pass?

I see that the forum rules were updated today. What changed in particular?

Could you stop ignoring reports?
