Something similar happened to me a few years ago. I got a text message (from someone I don't know, I have no idea how he got my phone number). He was talking about stuff like Inch Allah and he wanted me to come to Arabia.

I was going to write that I think he meant "Inshallah," Flilix, which means "by Allah's will" or "if Allah wills it," but there's actually a movie called Inch Allah, so maybe he was talking about that.

I think he used it at the end of his message, so I suppose it's used as a kind of greeting?

Yeah, a lot of Muslims use "inshallah" as a send-off, the same way some Christians might say "I hope we meet again, God willing" or something along those lines.
