yep, I heard about it.  I guess what happened in Houston and the news created this sense of panic too early.

Nah, I am fortunate to be here considering all the people that died due to this fucking hurricane and those still in danger.

Power came yesterday but it was all very hectic and couldn't find the spare time to post up until this very moment.

I want to thank all of you that shared some level of concern for my safety and even those who just came here to crack a joke, fuck political correctness.

Water service has not returned yet, but damage was minal.

The "worst thing" that happened to my home though, this whatever-the-fuck it was appeared inside our swimming pool the following day:

This fucker was like 2.5 inches long and escaped that container the following day. I didn't even know we had those nasty things in this island.

Well on to answer some posts done before the last time I came here:

I reject any redemption bestowed by any narcissistic, junkie-for-worship, self-absorbed gods.

But somewhere in that post there may be some well-intentioned wishes so thank you for that.

I only got me a water-cockroach and fallen leaves from my neighbors... :P

My sister is there in Kissimmee. Hope the damage there is minimum and no loss of life occurs. Take care.

I don't know man, a hurricane is danger outside the safety of your fortress but those crazy spiders are intruders in the intimacy of your quarters. o.O

Thanks, everything went well for me. Lives were lost and lots of people lost a lot with this hurricane so I was one of the fortunate ones.

We have had long periods of rain in here before and we know for certain that floods are a non-issue. There are place were floods did a number some miles from where I live though.

Yeah, I am at a safe place from floods but still in danger of tsunami.

Fortunately Jose went up the fuck away.

I needed that panic room AFTER the hurricane when there was no power and water service. lol

I live in Arecibo and we got it pretty tame here in the northwest. I only heard some "woosh" of wind and barely anything else happened. Culebra really got it bad though.

Thanks, it all went smoothly for me but the hurricane killed 3 people here in Puerto Rico.

Irma must have felt stronger there than here in Arecibo.

Thanks! Irma took the lives of three people here. Bad planning done decades ago has lots of houses susceptible to floods, lots of people go to shelters only to return to their homes and see their belongings under water, really sad.

PR has very sturdy concrete houses and a nice big hurricane weakening mountain range in the middle. Not to mention US sustaina... err... support.
