The cover. Why would you want to see in to the toilet? Even if it's clean I'd rather not see in to it. Plus there's the risk of things falling in to the toilet. Thankfully I haven't done it for years, but I once dropped my toothbrush in the toilet! Wouldn't have happened if the cover was down though.

It doesn't really bother me, I clean my toilet so it never looks too disgusting. And I don't keep my toothbrush near my toilet, so I don't have that problem either.

It's because you're lazy and think men should do everything for you, better the toilet seat is put up than pissed on, then you'd have something to moan about.
