White people need to be made aware of the term Pindu's. Thats what these people are. They dont represent most indians/ punjabis etc.

I've never heard of that term before but considering "Pindu" translates to "Village Person" in Punjabi, I'm sure its fairly widespread. This type of violence is in select groups of people from India, but it shows that archaic practices such as this are still somewhat present in the culture. Then again, I'm not sure if anyone can effectively categorize the behavior of over 1.2 billion individuals.

You know, the key word missing from all this is "punjabis". The state of Punjab is filled to the brim with drugee rednecks and ignorant people in general. 90% of these problems come from just 1/20 of india, which is the state of punjab. It's a shame people generalize this as India, because on places like New Delhi people are nicer than probably any American city. It's these fucking punjabis who bring shame to the nation. This problem isnt nearly as much common in the rest of india. If you ask how I know all this, I'm from New Delhi, India myself.
