Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Mario + Rabbids is much better than I anticipated, anyone playing it?...your thoughts?

First time I saw the trailers for this title, I thought it´d be one of those easily forgettable games, but I´ve been playing it for a few hours and so far it´s been great fun to my surprise...I usually don´t enjoy Ubisoft games but this one is an exception.

If you´ve been playing it, what´s your opinion?

Imo, Mario + Rabbids is a really fun game. Enjoying it a lot so far.

I would recommend it without question to anybody who enjoys the Tactics genre. It's a genuinely wonderful game, a surprise GOTY contender for me.

~~~~ Mario Kart 8 drove far past my expectations! Never again will I doubt the wheels of a Monster Franchise! :0 ~~~~
Halfway through world 4... I occasionally feel like I'm losing interest, but a few hours later I find myself reaching for it and enjoying it again lol
Does anyone get Michael Jackson "Thriller" vibes from some of the World 3 music? I feel like it was slightly inspired by it, which fits the atmosphere perfectly.
Finished it today, I still need to play the extra stages and perfect everything but I already feel really good about my purchase, the game is great and, while it still has a few Ubi bugs (I got stuck in a pipe maze because the game didn't let me re-enter the pipe I came from) it's nothing major enough to affect the overall quality of the game
I'm a couple hours in and having good fun. It almost doesn't feel like a Ubisoft game, which is strange.
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.
Does it have multi player?
Anyone else get a banjo kazooie vibe from the music?
