No its not, but when you are talking about police overstepping it quickly becomes an issue. With no way to defend yourself from a corrupt system you lose the ability to fight back effectivly. You essentially become a police state. Do you think that by banning guns or weapons in general that the police will approach any situation differently? They will still be just a quick to shoot because making something illigal doesnt stop criminals from doing it.

Like this video from a few days ago. If that was me on that bike there would have been a shoot out.

Eh, I'm sure cops shoot people every day and I'm sure those people are of every race.  Sounds like this woman has some sort of mental issue if she was really that scared when the officer stopped her, probably having flashbacks to 'nam like Goat does.

America's constant message to black people -- joking about shooting you is funny! Har har. No big deal, just sarcasm. But if the joke goes the other way .... probably a different story.

People have legitimate reason to fear US police twitchy trigger finger. They rarely de-escalate tension and are not shy to jump to gun first when they're scared... which they're always.

Maybe its just me, but to me the statement would tell me that the officer is racist and is happy to kill on a whim when he feels like it. It would not comfort me in the slightest.

Humor is a genuine, human way of coping with a harsh reality.
