I willl include the launch day, but other than that, I'll stop with the comparison, especially if Skyrim is winning at the time.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Also, a bit of an update here. The numbers regarding TES Skyrim at launch were revised and adjusted, and that's why TES numbers are the way they are now. It's still outselling FIFA, though.

Very much doubt it, Fifa 18 was 20 bucks for weeks on the Eshop, it will have sold a ton. It was constantly in the top 5 best sellers. Skyrim probably isn't even close anymore. The WC football will have boosted sales even more.

Thats true, but Fifa 19 is coming in two months and Fifa 18 will stop selling, while Skyrim will keep selling in future also, Skyrim will probably be 2m+ on Switch LT.

What, 2M? It is pretty safe to assume 1M, but 2M is a long way. It needs monstrous legs for that.

Skyrim probably already passed 1m with digital sales on Switch, and thats without any sales, discounts or price cut for game, in folowing years with much higher install base (curently is only around 20m) and sales, discounts or price cut for game, its not hard to imagine that game will hit 2m+ LT on Switch.

It is also worth remembering this game only had one holiday so far-and it was the launch holiday. Skyrim is keeping a steady 10k-15k during regular weeks,I can imagine it doing very well during year's end.

Take a look at the sales of the three versions on current consoles. As is visible, the holidays, sales and so on had no major effect (we see a small holiday increase but nothing major). The major sales were in the launch period and the Switch-version is actually following this pattern. In the first 10 weeks on PS4 it sold a little more than 2M, since then it has added just short of another million. XBox-version sold 1,28M in the first ten weeks and adds another 420K in the following 74 weeks. So on PS4 the legs were 50% of initial sales, on XBox 33%. Even if we assume the Switch-version doubles it's sales from the first ten weeks, we land at 1.2M.

First those are numbers whithout digital sales, so Switch already passed 1m phisical+digiltal, also I dont think we need to look at XB1/PS4 sales to get conclusion, fact is that Switch version of game is still keep selling very good, for instance in NPD sales Skyrim is still every month among top 10 best selling Switch games.

But you are ignoring a few points. First is that Skyrim on PS4/Xone saw a release at the end of september while the Switch launched a week prior to Black Friday. On PS4/Xone it had the chance to enjoy both the launch week and the full holiday. It also saw a price cut during those first 10 months while the Switch is still charting while still being full price, besides the install base argument.

Also,it is true that on Xbox One the sales stagnate after a while, but on PS4 there is a chance that the legs were cut short due to the launch of Syrim VR last holiday.

Will you do a Skyrim vs Fifa 19 then or just leave it at that?
