Forums - Sales Discussion - Lost legacy sells less than half of U4 week 1

It's to be expected. Uncharted 4 was the first full Uncharted this generation. Anticipation was high. This game is the "God of War Ascension"/"Gears of War Judgement" of the franchise. Still good but not the polished entry the mainline games are.

From everyone's replies so far, it sounds like people are not surprised by this result at all fair enough too, I think, there are a lot of good points being made. Being a spin-off for the mainline series is important for sure, that was my first thought as well =p

Not surprised. I have no interest in LL.
No Drake was already a stretch, but I just have no interest in these two characters.

Plus what I've seen of the start of the game - I just didn't think it looked beautiful.

I enjoyed the relationships in UC.

I thought the same until I played this.  Now I don't care if drake is in any future ones or not.

The relationship between nadine and chloe is the best so far in the series.  Such an epic adventure between the 2 of them.  It's also more beautiful then uncharted 4 and the pacing of the story is better.

Anyway the sales that went through the season pass like mine don't count. We got an absolute bargain for €25!

Its a overpriced dlc

It's priced appropiately.  $40 for around 8 hours of gameplay. Assuming you don't just try to speed run through it. At least 15 hours if you go for the Platinum trophy like I did.

It also wasn't nearly as expensive and roughly one million with digital is a pretty decent launch. If UK numbers are a good indication that is.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

It's not a DLC.

considering it only took 1 year and some to make with a small team the sales are good

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Well Playstation already has some big exclusives this year, like Horizon and Crash. Not unsuprising, this is not the year of Uncharted.

My memories kind of foggy. Are Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted the only big exclusives Sony developed this year? I know Gravity Rush was Sony but that was smaller. If so, then those third parties really came through x D

This doesn't include all the U4 Deluxe and Season pass sales.
