indiestation 4 FAKE 4K and 25fps HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAH

Will you ever give up making alt's you loser?

Also RoTR on PS4 Pro is 2160p checkerboard 30 fps, just like Assassin's Creed Origins on Xbox One X.

Does the PS4 PRO version of AC:O features Pixel Purity ™ and True 4K ™ like the Xbox One X version?

Forza 7 looks great, and maybe its me but i cant seem to be impressed by racing and/or sports games.

Nope, you aren't the only one! They are nice to look at, but other than that... I generally find them uninspiring.

The only racing game I have ever truly gotten into was the original Need for Speed: Most Wanted back when Dinosaurs roamed the earth/Generation 6.

I have an IRL friend who is a Nascar fanatic, watching him just keep turning-left is like watching paint dry... At-least include some explosions, an alien invasion or giant japanese mechs or something!?

I wonder which Microsoft First Party Studio will helm the exclusive to showcase the Xbox One X power.

Halo 5 did a good job of pushing the base Xbox One.
It did have it's graphical compromises as obtaining and retaining a locked 60fps isn't the easiest of targets... Which made it graphically ugly for a game of this generation.
I think the Xbox One X could push all of that aside and dial things up to 11 so that there is less of a compromised experience.

Of course games still need to be built with the base Xbox One in mind, which might become a limiter, just need the games to know for sure!

But it does even with a 1000€ CPU

Good thing then that the comparison is very different, since the PC video you linked has the game maxed out in every possible option while running at 4k, versus the Xbox One X version which not only doesn't have the same amount of detail, but also has three different modes specifically for what you want(4k mode, framerate mode, details mode) - by comparison there isn't seperate modes on the PC because it's maxing out ever single thing on screen, the details, the resolution, and the framerate at said details and resolution. As much as I can understand that the X is a great value for console gamers, it's a bit disingenous to say that it rekts PCs like a lot of people seem to be implying. Yes, that PC is having a hard time running it at 4k above 30 fps ... but it's still getting better framerate than the 4k version on the X, and it's maxing out every possible setting.

Plus, this is anecdotal evidence but, the Tomb Raider port is good to pretty good on PC, not great. I've played games that looked better than it and got consistently above 60 fps on max settings, whereas playing Rise of the Tomb  Raider would give me 55-75 fps consistently, and occasionally dip below that.

Also...wouldn't most 4k gamers on PC be using ... a 1080Ti? Not a 1080?

You dont have proof, even at lower settinsg the 1000+ dollar PC will get rekt, its pretty obvious if you watch the video

That's just what the game looks like with DoF, PP, and FXAA on. They did the same for the PC and that was very much the same result.

Yeah I know. Xbox One X users must be tickled pink though. It is the closest a console has gotten to matching a PC in 12 years.

One thing I love about the mid-generation boost from the Playstation 4 Pro and Xbox One X is the baseline sits a little higher which benefits the PC side as well.

No it doesnt, all what PS4 Pro and XBOX are getting are the higher settings from PC versions, the games still are getting devoloped and released for PS4 and the OG XOne. The PS4 Pro pretty much is matching highend PCs and so did the PS4 before during its time etc.

I think this shows the problem, just not of benefit to spend that amount of money for very little improvement. The next gen consoles may be problematic because of these mid time consoles.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Wow, even at max settings the pc version of rise of the tomb raider stands no chance against the xbox one x version. I guess it's true, the 1080 gtx can't outdo the xbox one x.

This is blatantly true!

Fixed that for you, we all know the xbox one x is a beast and you would need a computer from nasa to compete with it.
