Contoller would be fine for singleplayer games. But the pc games I'm interested in are games like endless space which don't have gamepad support. Shooters no cause I'd get wrecked by people on kb/mouse. I like the structure and ease of Xbox live and psn. There isn't any confusion either when it comes to upgrading. Pc versions have the inferior port most of the time.
amyway some of Microsoft's games are on steam. Ms also enabled crossplay between windows store and steam recently.
