As you all know the Xbox play anywhere initiative is growing. I think I've reached my limit. The PC is starting to become a more attractive option. Halo makes the jump then so will I. I've owned every Xbox, but if this Xbox play anywhere thing is set in stone they might have just made me a PC gamer again. Gears is my favorite Xbox franchise and halo was all that was left. I think I've hit my limit. I'll still support those two Xbox games but just from another platform. To give a little bit of history in sold my GameCube when I was younger to buy my first Xbox. Since then I hadn't owned a nintnedo console. Fast forward to today the switch is my secondary console and my Xbox is pretty much just my free games box.yeah... this would be the last straw.

You're right. I should've seen the writing on the wall with gears 4 and forge. I was already deep into the ecosystem though before ply anywhere took off.

"When Microsoft puts Halo 6 on PC im switching to PC"

Halo 6 will be on PC. Halo 5 forge on PC has a great community with lots of content. I'm excited for Halo to become a play anywhere game.

Yeah, the chains are breaking. The Xbox brand was the spokes that cut off my attention from nintnedo and PC in the first place.

Edit: I really don't mind that everything on Xbox One is also on PC. It was similar in the OG Xbox days. Some of my favorite Xbox games were Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Far Cry Instincts (a modified port of Far Cry), KOTOR, Morrowind, etc. It was just hassle-free and convenient to play the games on the couch, even if they were available elsewhere.

The problem now is that these PC games are also on PlayStation, and those that aren't — like Halo 6 —  probably won't be very good. So, as a console gamer, I have fewer and fewer reasons to invest in Xbox.

It better be good. Halo 5 left a lot to be desired.

right now Sunset Overdrive is the only thing preventing me from selling my Xbox One. the devs are even on board to port it but Microsoft wont allow them to

I hope so! I love the franchise dearly and want to see it return to greatness more than anything.
