Really interested in the console.  Glad for what it can do.  Wish the PS4 could have done the same.  As a result, I only get multiplats on PC, and since microsoft has said that all xbox games will come to PC, I cannot justify an Xbox One X, when I have Ryzen 7 1800x, and a GTX 1080 Ti FTW3.  That water cooler in the xbox is also a big no-no, for me too.  Yeah, I have an AIO in my PC, however, I can take it out and replace it in a couple years.  Not happening with a console.

 

Goddamn, 1080 ti and ryzen 7. What is it like playing rocket league in 8k :P

You have a point. 16k or nothing when it comes to Rocket League. game is above Crysis

I don't play rocket league, and I don't play in 8k.  A ftw3 was my way of making sure I could play whatever I wanted with a minimum 60 FPS with decent graphics settings.

What is the cost to do native 4K in 60fps.  Just wondering since many have said this is pretty rought to do on PC as well.

To both of you. I am also very interested to see how XOX stacks up to PC. That is the end goal. I would love to have the option of a console, on par or better than the best single CPU/GPU PC. The XOX won't achieve it, but I am interested to see how close it is. 

The Pro will continue to see games with 4K assets. In its case, it's not just about a limitation of RAM, but how devs choose to use it. Remember what the PS3 pulled off with split (256/256MB) of RAM. * Just as an example, this isn't the rule *

Yes, the X1X will be better at it, but the Pro is going to be optimized enough to pull it off.

I have not seen any evidence of any game using 4K assets for the PS4 pro.  I thought one of the limiting factors were ram and the speed of the ram.

Looking forward to November :)
Halo 6 is going to look great on this baby next year and I already have several games I want to replay in 4k :) May actually buy the new Assassin Creed (never been a fan of this franchise) as it looks quite nice.

Never played rise of the tomb raider or the witcher 3. Can't wait to play both on the xox in 4k.

Come on Microsoft, fund new original AAA IP❗❗Take a chance for crying out loud. Eg if Sony hadn't taken a chance with Demon's Souls, the other consoles would never have received Dark Souls etc.

Terrible example as at the same time MS worked with From Software for the game Ninja Blade. They did exactly the same as Sony.
