VR is the future of gaming.
4K adds nothing to games.
Switch is a step backwards from WiiU.

Before the Nintendo fanbase tears you to shreds, I just want to wish you the best. Good luck!

I'm still in one piece, seems they agree :p

But really:
- no compatibility with old controllers like the WiiU supported all Wii controllers
- controller price hike for hardly noticeable 'benefits'
- less comfortable to hold due to tiny controllers and stick placement
- no backwards compatiility
- limited to playing on 1 screen at a time, no multi screen co-op or versus
- no camera on the handheld portion
- games limited to working without touchscreen controls
- no you tube / netflix (might be added later)
- can't watch the screen while charging in the dock

I loved playing BotW on it and am looking forward to Mario Odyssey, yet the thing just sits idle while the WiiU is getting used daily. It's a whole lot of sacrifices to turn it into the most powerful handheld.

I dont agree with that.

Very very few MMOs are as PVE focused as it is. It also sticks to the holy trinity (healers + tanks + dps) and succcess relying on people noticeing effects, and acting accordingly, theres alot of management & team work there and challengeing pve battles. Theres good stroyline arcs with missions to follow.

Also most mmo's that try to change the formula just result in them makeing something worse. Most MMOs just end up as silly pvp battles stuff at endgame, not FFXIV.

That "fad" of no more auto lockon and instead a skill aim system sucks in the mmo's ive played.

And I dont think there are really any other mmos like FFXIV out there atm.

Turn based RPG's I feel are bogged down on purpose, rather than switching it up with real time actions and consequences.

Hate when people say this, I dont agree at all with it either.

You and I will forever disagree on the same subject over and over. I'm not going to change my view because you disagree with mine, so we'll have to leave it at that, past, present and future.

I'm still sticking with what I've said though.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Pokémon, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter and Sonic are all horrible franchises.

How much of those games have you played?

Plenty of Pokemon and Mario Kart, and some entries of Monster Hunter and Sonic.

While I disagree entirely (I think the Wii U is a giant failure in game hardware design) you aren't wrong about a few things on the Switch, and it definitely needs some media features asap. It is worth noting there are cheap charging docks for use while charging, it's compatible with 3rd party controllers like the 8bitdo and a slew of others that have USB adapters (including PS3 and PS4 controllers), and is in general a step in the right direction (imo).

In terms of it sitting idle.. it's a new system, they're all are a bit lacking initially. I've mostly been playing Sonic on it lately, which still doesn't feel right.

I once (twice) wrote on here that bringing back crash bandicoot, even remaking the original games, would be masively profitable. I was bashed, laughed at and generally, it was an unpopular opinion. I don't think one person on this site said it would be a great idea. I guess the armchair analysts were completely wrong.

Legs puns in relation to ARMS sales aren't funny or clever and never have been.

Gold PS4 is the ugliest console since the US SNES.

UK retailers should block all exports of the SNES classic.

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

Uncharted is an overrated chore of a "game".

...minus some parts of Uncharted 3.

I enjoy Uncharted for the presentation and characters but the gameplay is incredibly mediocre. I managed to get through 1 and 2 while having some fun with them but 3 for whatever reason completely dropped the ball for me.

Home console gaming sucks

PC gaming is even worse

Wii U has the best controller ever, since it lets you play most games in handheld mode

Switch is by far the best console ever made

GTA5 and Skyrim are terribly boring

The vast majority of games that aren't made by Nintendo are pretty bad

Breath of the Wild is the only game that's pretty much flawless

Breath of the Wild has the best graphics ever

Pokémon X&Y are way better than Sun&Moon

Wow we're like the exact opposite . Except on the point of GTA5 and Skyrim, I couldn't get into GTA5 despite liking GTA SA a lot and Skyrim lost its charm about 50 hours in for me.
