Forums - Sony Discussion - Anybody playing Uncharted LL? What are your impressions?

Trying to decide between this and Hellblade once I finish Persona (damn this is a long game). I was starting to get tired of the Uncharted formula during both the 3rd and 4th installments, but this one is shorter....can't decide.

They're both excellent, though Uncharted is obviously the more polished of the two (Naughty Dog has access to a lot more staff and money than Ninja Theory). Just note that Hellblade is a very serious, gloomy (yet still excellent) game and LL is more akin to an adventure story, far more playful than Uncharted 4 felt at times.

Have it in the plastic on my coffee table. Have some days off this week and had been planning to play it the moment I got it, but 2 weeks ago I finally started MGS5, and I am so hooked on that damn game. Hopefully I'll beat MGS5 and can get to UTLL before my vacation days end.

I would PROBABLY like Hellblade more then, and I abosluetly loved Heavenly Sword, so I'm leaning that way. But sometimes I need a palette cleanser from what I normally play and just want something with a light-hearted feel.

If you loved Heavenly Sword, you're likely to enjoy Hellblade quite a bit. It focuses on a very different mythology, but is somewhat similar in style and feel. The swordplay isn't quite as rich as Heavenly Sword's, but there is a similar focus on narrative and story. I would highly recommend playing it with headphones, to take advantage of the 3d audio.

Great, thanks for the advice!

The girls are very great. The jungle so beautiful and gameplay is awesome.

Not interested. There are better games out there waiting for my money, and Im kinda tired of Uncharted to be quite honest.Gameplay has become too samey, and while the charachters and narrative are as strong as they have ever been, the overall plot has fallen quite a bit since Uncharted 2.

I'd say it's more the presentation of the narrative in Uncharted games, not the actual narrative that's strong.

It doesn't look like it's in 4K on PS4 Pro, either.

Its supposedly somewhere around or just over 1440 Native, checkerboarded up to 4k, digital foundry have a hard time placeing it.

But its 60fps 30fps and lots of AA, and has HDR.

Havnt played it but saw some screenshots & Gifs from neogaf ,and I think the game looks amasing:

Haven't played it but I did come across a video showing an install that had seemingly gone wrong. Pretty funny:
