I don't... but if I did I wouldn't think of playing every one of their games as a prerequisite

Hmm I don't trust any gaming company to that degree but I tend to trust the games that Japanese devs put out over western devs.

I'm a weird person. 

Some people are fanatics like that, though. Not a lot, but a few are. I guess having a favorite studio is like having a favorite music artist. When you hear they're making something, you get excited. Look how many people lost their shit over Rockstar's Agent game when all it was was a logo.

I am fond of certain developers/publishers due to their past work like with anything else but that doesn't mean they don't make trash too. This can be a business like Nintendo with multiple great series or something more like Capcom where I'm keen on them almost exclusively because of Resident Evil. That's the extent of it though.

Team ICO I guess. They haven't disappointed yet. There's only 3 games ofcourse, all 3 are in my top 10 best games of all time. And I'll be the SotC remaster again day 1.

Ah, OK. As for Capcom, I love so many of their franchises, I can't list them all. However, they have made a lot of iffy decisions recently, which has made me very weary of them.

Anything Naughty Dog. Sony in general. This entire generation they have delivered non-stop games and awesome exclusives. Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, Until Dawn, Horizon, Persona 5 to name a few. Have really liked their support of PSVR as well since it was launched - steady stream of games and I'm happy with my purchase. Looking forward to playing Lost Legacy today. Their pipeline of upcoming exclusives is ridiculous! GT Sport, Days Gone, God of War, Spider-Man, Detroit, Last of Us Part II. I think when all is said and done this would have been my favorite generation from them.
