Another problem is those exclusives are being made by studios that we know exactly know, so it might or might not turn out well. Remember that we went through this before with Crytek and Black Tusk and one game was switch from a Kinect game to a regular game and the new IP from Black Tusk was scrapped for the perpetual Gears release. There will be one last Halo and One last Gears this gen. This gen for Xbox is like watching a ship sink slowly. Next gen people will be tired of Forza...mark my words. |
It probably take even more than 3 years from investing in a new studio to bringing the first competent AAA game... but they have been saying they are improving their first party since before X1 release with several billions (I think it was 6) invested in making new studios...
Do you remember at the months prior to reveal people were trying to prove MS had more studios than Sony (after they made the investment) and we only basically only saw Gears and Halo coming from the new studios? And they have closed some of the studios before they even released anything.
