The whole "lets go North to get a wight" plot line has been kinda stupid to be honest but it produced some cool moments.

That's what i was thinking the whole time. Was Cersei really worth any of this? Should have just burned everyone in kings landing and ended it.

I imagine having a dragon will allow the night king to advance on the wall. So... many more people will die cause Tyrion is too worried that she becomes a tyrant by killing a tyrant everyone hates.

I knew that plot was a bad idea from the very moment it was based on: let's reason with Cersei.

Your sentence pretty much sums up my feelings with this season: characters doing questionable/bad written stuff that leads to memorable moments.

I refuse to read anything in this thread until after next monday when episode 7 has aired, given a similar thread on another site ruined episode 6 for me.

You don't think the wight will convince Cersei to temporarily team up?
Of course neither side will trust the other, but I think they'll get Cercei to fight the whitewalkers.

Wight meeting with true Cercei would murder those characters in the very first meeting, secure power, then deal with the threat. We know how big of a threat the White Walkers are, but a single Wight left on her doorstep would not convey the graveness of the situation. True Cercei would consider the Dragon Queen the bigger threat. Maybe if Cercei take their attitude (Jon and Danny's) and request seriously she would take the matter seriously, but that would require a lot of trusting done by Cercei on these two which goes against my image of the character.

Anyways, current showrunners without books as source for all this will make her character do whatever they want. I don't expect to be right on any prediction considering the things they do with these characters.

The night king got the Blue-Eyes Wight Dragon in his collection.
Now he can finally beat Yugi in a childrens card game.

I only watched Yu Gi Oh! for some episodes but that is enough to get this reference. :P

And yet here you are posting, trusting your ever wandering eyes not to look for an instant where they shouldn't. Must be the masochistic nature of humans and love for danger.

I expected a spoiler from a future episode, because I saw that episode several days ago. xD

Anyway, I thought that would happen at some point. But it happened sooner than I expected. I thought there would be three Targaryen dragon riders, each with one dragon, before that occured.

Me too xD

But who would be the third Targaryen? Besides Dany and Jon?

Aemon said "There are always three. The three headed dragon"

In the TV show it could be Gendry, or Tyrion.
In the books, Aegon Targaryen is supposedly alive. But people theorize that he's a fraud.

But isnt Gendry a Baratheon?!

How could Tyrion be one, when we know his backstory and the way his mother died, and the resentment of his father and brothers because of this.

Im fucking lost man LOL

The one wight is notmeant to prove the severity of the problem. Only that the problem is real.
What will show Cercei how serious the threat is, is Jon, Tyrion (and possibly Dany), risking their lives to ask for help, when they recently demonstrated how easily they could wipe out Cercei's army. Add to it that they lost a dragon trying to secure the wight, and I see no reason why Cercei would doubt the severity of the threat.

Cercei:

"Let them do all the work, let them face the White Walkers in battle, let them shrink their numbers and who knows if she loses her dragons in the process. Let us pretend to give soldiers and help and then we will not show up. Then whatever is left of Lady Stormborn and the Bastard's armies after they face the WW will be easily taken care of."

And Drogon might go off with Jon leaving Danny with just one. lol
